Auto Electrician-Construct /Plant Equipment -Aust.

Our client is currently seeking an Auto Electrician for work on several projects in Western Australia.

The role will directly report to the Maintenance Supervisor. The candidate will be responsible for electrical repairs, replacement of electrical components and tasks as directed.

Requirements for this position::

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in confined workspaces; to work at height
• Possess relevant trade qualification.
• Demonstrate suitable skills in electronic fault finding, component change out, servicing and maintaining on construction plant equipment.
• Able to understand and interpret OEM manuals and electronic schematics
• Demonstrate suitable knowledge in use of appropriate power tools, pneumatic tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting workshop maintenance and maintaining high housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Diagnosing electrical faults in mobile plant
• Dismantling or removal and replacement of machine’s electronic components, and diagnosing the serviceability of disassembled or removed electronic parts
• Repairing or replacing worn or defective parts, and reassembling Electronic components
• Maintaining equipment to company and OEM specifications to ensure reliable operation
• Any other duties as directed by your direct Manager/Supervisor.
