Project Engineer – Oil & Gas - UK

Our client is a major international energy company. They are currently looking for a 2 Project Engineers to join their UK Oil & Gas team.

This is an immediate vacancy and the contract is for an estimated duration is of 12 months

The Requirements

- 10 + years of experience in the same role
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering Discipline
- Significant experience in Engineering/Construction Management within big international projects

The Responsibilities

- Prepare and Implement an Interface Management System, tools and appropriate work processes to effectively develop and manage the interfaces packages for bids between different EPC Contractors.
- Develop the guidelines which would clearly defines battery limits between different EPC Contractor scopes.
- Act as point of contact between internal/external parties and communicate with the relevant parties.
- Ensure that all interfaces are clearly developed and identified for all bid packages that will be developed in the Interface Management Plan, and mapped to the Interface management System in accordance with the project requirements.
- Hold the master interface register, coordinate and monitor interface requests and response among pertinent parties.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports including status of outstanding interface and technical queries and issues, and resolved ones.
- Coordinate and participate in regular interface meetings and work with the engineering disciplines to resolve the raised issue.
- Support engineering philosophy and design activities and technical risk decisions over all project proposal phases and activities.
